so today we had a much better time riding the hills 😀  We were not sore and successfully completed 43 miles.

Stunning day to ride, the temp was perfect!  chilly in the morning enough for sleeves but than as the day wore on, warm enough to take off sleeves and enjoy the breeze.

Starting to see the wild flowers coming out! Only a couple more weeks and it will be breath taking rides of miles of flowers.

Afterwards we ate at a place called Magnolia Diner.  A Cool “classic Hollywood” themed place.  They had sunset blvd street sign on the walls along with photos of Marilyn Monroe.  I had a really good BLT and Charles had a Pork Fried Steak.

Anderson hills – 20 mi

Worked on hill training.  Was much harder than planned due to still being sore from p90x.  Planned to do 40 mi, only did 20 mi.

Gorgeous day!  Saw lots of birds of prey including a congress of vultures.  Road out of Richards to Anderson and back.  Next time I think we will start in Anderson and ride to Richards.  The hills were a bit much right out of the gate going out of Richards, did get up to a max of 30 mph down the Anderson hill 😀

whew! Did p90 “Back and Biceps” with Charles.  We discovered two things, we can do the workout together for this dvd set, but we need some more heavy weights for him.  We took turns using the pull up bar.  woo! man, those pullups are MURDER!!! but feels good 😀
